There are two varieties of Modified Bitumen:
Atactic Polypropylene (APP):
APP Modified Bitumen provides excellent UV and heat resistance, and is either heat-welded or torch-applied.Styrene Butadiene Styrene (SBS):
With a serviceability range between -20F and 270F, SBS Modified Bitumen is an excellent solution for areas with drastic shifts in temperature.Modified Bitumen is generally made of alternating layers of asphalt, synthetic rubber, and a reinforcing roofing felt.
Well-known for excellent performance in harsh conditions, Mod-Bit is a viable system for a multitude of commercial & industrial roofs.

Modified Bitumen roofs are also thinner, easier & quicker to install, lighter, and have fewer layers.
