Situation
AllCable had an industrial roofing system at the end of its life that had plagued them with leaks for more than a decade.
The carrier had previously denied their hail damage claim over the scope of loss, stating that the damage was caused by age since the roofing system was more than 30 years old with multiple defects on the roof.
Outcome

Summary
In 2018, MAC Street Industrial was asked to analyze the client’s portfolio and estimate the cost for a new industrial roofing system. We proceeded to inspect the Denver AllCable headquarters location, and discovered significant latent hail damage.
We verified storm data through an independent meteorologist and hail verification report. Because the insurance carrier had denied the claim originally (claiming that the damage was due to the age of the roof rather than hail), MAC Street Industrial developed a comprehensive strategy and assembled a team of third-party experts to expound on the mass amount of evidence of covered damage that occurred during the policy period.
We compiled reports detailing the extent and validity of the damage, along with weather forensic data- proving that significant hail-producing events had taken place over that location between 2012 and 2017.
When presented with this comprehensive evidence, the insurance carrier agreed to continue negotiations in good faith.
Ultimately, MAC Street Industrial added over $300k in value to this building by installing a new roof system- at no additional expense to the property owner.
